Hirer terms
Last updated 10 October 2026. These terms apply when Wheel Limited, trading as Staffing Options ("we") supplies a worker to, or introduces a candidate to, a business ("you"). Each booking confirmation forms part of them.
1. What we do
For temporary and temp-to-perm supply we act as an employment business: we employ and pay the worker, who works under your supervision. For permanent introductions we act as an employment agency: you employ the person and we do not pay them.
2. Bookings
Before a booking is confirmed you give us the information on our Hire staff page, including your confirmation that the role does not cover anyone taking part in a strike or other official industrial action. We do not confirm a booking without it. We confirm each booking in writing, with the charge rates and, for temp-to-perm, the transfer terms.
3. Charges and payment
You pay the hourly charge rates in the booking confirmation for every hour worked, as recorded on the timesheet you approve each week. We invoice weekly; invoices are payable within 14 days. We may set and review a credit limit, and pause new bookings while it is exceeded.
4. Equal treatment
From the worker's first day you give them access to your shared facilities and tell them about your vacancies. You give us the basic pay and conditions of a comparable employee at booking, so that after 12 weeks in the same role the worker receives them; our charge rates change at that point as the booking confirmation sets out.
5. Taking a worker on yourself
If you employ or engage a temporary worker we supplied, directly or through someone else, within the later of 14 weeks from the first day of their first assignment with you and 8 weeks after the last day they worked for you (a break of more than 42 days between assignments restarts the 14 weeks), you pay the transfer fee in the booking confirmation. Instead of the fee you may choose an extended period of hire, of the length the booking confirmation sets, at the same charge rates; after it, the worker may join you with no fee. No fee is charged after these periods.
6. Permanent introductions
When a candidate we introduce accepts a role with you, you pay the introduction fee in the booking confirmation, invoiced on their start date.
7. Your workplace
You are responsible for the worker's safety at your premises: an induction, safe equipment, any protective equipment the role needs, and supervision. You tell us at once of any accident, complaint or concern.
8. Worker information
We share a worker's details with you only with their agreement for that booking, and right-to-work evidence only as a confirmation of the check, its date and its method. You use what we share only for that booking and keep it secure.
9. Liability
We hold employers' liability insurance for the workers we employ. We are not liable for loss caused by a worker while under your supervision, except where the law does not allow us to exclude it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Ending a booking
Either of us may end a temporary assignment by telling the other; you pay for the hours worked up to then.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
